We're hiring!

At Your Healthy Karma, we believe in care that’s thoughtful, ethical, and human. Guided by our mission — Feel good. Do good. Be good. — we support healing through clinical massage, whole-person wellness, and exceptional client experience.

We’re growing and looking for dependable, service-oriented people who value integrity, kindness, and doing meaningful work well — whether hands-on with clients or behind the scenes supporting the practice.

Licenced Massage Therapist

Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT)

Own your schedule in a growing practice

Location: Woodinville, WA

Company: Your Healthy Karma

Position Type: W-2 Employee

Compensation: $45/hr hands-on + $22/hr paid admin/charting time + tips + retention bonus. Guaranteed $35/hr for all scheduled time while you build your clientele.

Build a massage career that works for your body, too

Our motto is Feel good. Do good. Be good. It's more than a tagline—it's the idea that has shaped Your Healthy Karma from the beginning.

Feel good means creating a place where people can feel better in their bodies and in their lives. That applies to our clients, but also to the people who work here. We want our practitioners to have the time, autonomy, support, and sustainable workload they need to enjoy this work for years to come.

Do good means being an active part of the community around us. We use our time, skills, resources, and business to support causes and organizations that matter to our clients, our team, and our neighbors—and we encourage our employees to bring forward the causes they care about, too.

Be good is about how we treat people. We strive to practice with integrity, kindness, curiosity, inclusion, and respect—for our clients, for one another, and for the larger community we're part of.

We're a small practice, which means every person who joins us has an opportunity to help shape what Your Healthy Karma becomes. We're looking for people who want to be excellent massage therapists, but also people who like the idea of being part of a business that tries to leave its little corner of the world better than it found it.

Why you'll love working here

  • You control your schedule. Tell us the days and hours you want to work and how many hands-on hours you're comfortable providing. We build your schedule around those boundaries.
  • You're paid for more than hands-on time. Documentation, client care, room reset, and the work that happens between massages are real work—and we pay you for it.
  • Clients are already looking for you. We have a loyal, established client base and more demand than our current team can accommodate. You do not need to bring a book of business.
  • Your income is protected while you build your clientele. You'll earn at least $35/hour for every scheduled hour during your initial ramp-up and insurance credentialing period, regardless of booking volume.
  • We welcome the whole person. Your Healthy Karma is an inclusive workplace where diverse identities, backgrounds, perspectives, bodies, and therapeutic approaches are respected and valued.

Compensation and benefits

We believe compensation should be transparent and should recognize both your physical labor and the professional work surrounding each treatment.

  • $45/hour hands-on treatment time
  • $22/hour paid administrative time. A 60-minute massage includes 30 minutes of paid administrative time for intake, documentation, room reset, and other client-care responsibilities. This means $56 in base compensation for each completed 60-minute massage, plus 100% of your tips.

Guaranteed ramp-up pay

Building a full schedule takes time, and you shouldn't have to absorb all of that financial risk.

During your initial ramp-up and insurance credentialing period, typically the first 2–3 months, you're guaranteed $35/hour for your entire scheduled shift, regardless of booking volume.

Benefits and perks

  • Employer-funded healthcare benefit to help offset the cost of individual health insurance coverage
  • Paid time off (PTO)
  • Retention bonus after 3 months
  • Continuing education financial support
  • Annual Washington State massage license renewal reimbursement
  • Compensation reviews at 6 and 12 months
  • Employee wellness perks
  • Flexible scheduling with control over your workload

What you'll do

  • Provide individualized therapeutic massage based on each client's needs, goals, and preferences
  • Conduct thoughtful client intakes and make appropriate treatment recommendations
  • Complete timely, professional SOAP notes and other required documentation
  • Communicate appropriate follow-up recommendations when clinically indicated
  • Maintain a clean, calm, and welcoming treatment environment
  • Collaborate with our small team to provide an exceptional client experience

Newly licensed? We'd love to hear from you.

You do not need years of experience, an existing clientele, or previous insurance credentialing to succeed here.

If you're newly licensed—or preparing to receive your Washington LMT license—we encourage you to apply.

We'll help you develop confidence with clinical documentation, treatment planning, insurance workflows, and the day-to-day realities of professional practice while you build your clientele.

Experienced therapists are equally welcome, especially if you bring specialties, modalities, or areas of expertise you'd like to grow within the practice.

Qualifications

  • Active Washington State massage therapist license in good standing, or eligibility for imminent Washington licensure
  • Commitment to individualized, client-centered care
  • Strong communication skills and professional boundaries
  • Reliable time management and documentation habits
  • Ability to work independently while also being part of a supportive team
  • Curiosity and a desire to continue developing your skills as a massage therapist

Insurance experience is not required. If you're not currently credentialed with the insurance networks we participate with, we'll guide you through the process—and your guaranteed hourly pay protects your income while credentialing is completed.

How to apply

Submit your resume and a brief note telling us about the massage modalities you enjoy, the clients you love working with, or the kind of therapist you'd like to become.

Selected candidates will be invited to a paid working interview ($35) consisting of a 45-minute practical session. We're interested in experiencing your individual style, communication, and approach to client care—not whether you perform massage exactly the way we do.

Bring your whole self. We value different identities, backgrounds, perspectives, bodies, life experiences, and approaches to healing. We want our team—and our clients—to feel safe being who they are here.
