Pay:  $800–$1,100+/week at 10-15 sessions

We offer two starting compensation structures designed to support different preferences. You’ll select the path that best fits your preferences at the time of hire.

• $35/hr for all scheduled time
• Minimum weekly pay equivalent to 10 hours during onboarding
• Transitions to $45/hr hands-on + $22/hr admin after credentialing (each session includes 30 minutes of paid admin/charting time)
• Designed for therapists who prefer consistent, predictable income while building their schedule and practice

• $45/hr hands-on + $20–$22/hr admin from day one  (each session includes 30 minutes of paid admin/charting time)
• $450/week minimum during onboarding
• Designed for therapists who want higher earning potential immediately, with moderate variability during onboarding

• Tips (enhanced by service mix)
• 3-month retention bonus
• 6-month retention bonus or rate increase
• 12-month rate increase
• Optional commission (50–60%) for approved specialty services

Final compensation structure is confirmed at time of offer and remains in place for a minimum of 90 days.

Your Healthy Karma is a small, independently owned massage therapy practice built on clinical integrity, compassionate care, and long-term relationships.

We are an ethical, client-centered practice with a highly loyal, referral-based clientele and a strong connection to our local community. Our environment is warm, collaborative, and low-pressure—we believe massage therapists deserve sustainable careers, not burnout.

Our services span clinical, therapeutic, and restorative massage. We intentionally operate as a hybrid model, blending insurance-based care with cash-pay services such as relaxation, deep tissue, and specialty work.

This allows therapists to benefit from both:

• consistent demand and stability (clinical care)
• higher-earning potential (cash services and tips)

This role is designed to support both immediate income and long-term stability. We seek to build a long-lasting team with roots in the community and lasting client relationships. In this role, massage therapists work solo in the studio according to the schedule that they design. Individuality and specialization are valued and encouraged, as we strive to give our clients a wide range of choices. 

The onboarding period can take 4-8 weeks, depending on experience and the LMT’s credentialing status. A typical week during this period is 5-7 sessions a week of mostly cash-pay services. Once insurance credentials are established, schedules fill quickly and we try to actively balance the mix of self-pay vs. insurance services for each practitioner.

We prioritize a sustainable pace of care. Therapists are not expected to maintain high-volume schedules.

• You’ll have control over your schedule by opening availability within shared studio hours, with no rigid shift requirements.
• We actively support schedule building through an established client base and ongoing demand. Most therapists typically maintain a consistent schedule of 10–12 sessions per week, with flexibility to grow.
• Consistent weekly availability is encouraged to support client continuity and predictable income.

• Each session includes a 30-minute transition period for charting, room reset, and client checkout—so you’re never rushed between clients.
• Therapists manage payment and rebooking within a simple, supported system. Many find this creates a more seamless client experience, stronger client relationships, and more consistent tipping.

• Therapists build a consistent clientele and develop strong relationships with returning clients.
• Over time, there are opportunities to increase earnings, expand into specialty services, and refine your clinical or therapeutic focus.

• We invest significantly in onboarding, insurance credentialing, and building your schedule.
• This role includes a credentialing support agreement with a 6-month commitment following credentialing approval to support continuity of care and schedule stability.

• Active Washington State LMT license in good standing
• 2+ years of experience preferred
• Experience with electronic health records systems and digital charting
• Excellent communication and client care skills
• Reliable, ethical, and self-directed
• Active professional liability insurance

• Minimum $350/week during onboarding (based on guaranteed 10 hours of pay)
• Additional scheduled time $35/hr 
• Scheduled time: 10–14 hours → $350–$490
• Tips: $105 - $196

• Admin/charting time: $220–$330
• Tips (based on balanced service mix): $210–$350
• Estimated weekly total: $880–$1,355+

• Typical early ramp (5–7 sessions):
• Hands-on: $225–$315
• Admin time: $110–$154
• Tips (cash-heavy mix): $150–$250
• Estimated weekly total: $485–$720
