Massage therapy is provided for stress reduction, relaxation, relief from muscular tension, and improvement of circulation and energy flow. Massage therapy is not a substitute for medical care. Massage therapists are not qualified to perform spinal or skeletal adjustments, diagnose, prescribe, or treat physical or mental illness. Professional massage services provided are entirely therapeutic and non-sexual in nature. Because massage therapy work involves maintained touch and close physical proximity over an extended period, there may be an elevated risk of disease transmission, including COVID-19.
Services will only be provided to clients who acknowledge these statements by signing a release, which must be renewed every year.
Cancellation and Timeliness Policies
Your Healthy Karma cares that all clients are treated fairly and are able to get treatment in a timely manner. Please provide at least 24-hours notice if you need to change, reschedule or cancel your appointment.
If you change or reschedule your appointment without providing 24-hours advance notice, or fail to keep your appointment, you will be charged a fee of $50.
If you arrive late for an appointment, your service time may be shortened and the full scheduled service fee will apply.
Payment for missed appointment fees must be made in full at least 24 hours prior to the next appointment.
After repeated failure* to provide timely notice for cancelled or changed appointments, you will be required to pre-pay for scheduled services in full.
